Rules and Regulations
UN-sportsmen like behaviour:
If a driver shows behaviour that could be counted as UN-sportsmen like in or out of races a 1 place finishing drop will be given for first time offenders if they Carry on causing trouble then a one race ban will be given ( this includes arguing with the stewards decision) after the race ban when they come back to the league if they carry on again they will be permanently banned from the league and their place and points already gained will be given to someone else. Racing Incidents and Collisions:
Stewards have the power to impose various penalties on a driver if he commits an offense during a race. Offenses include causing an avoidable accident, unfairly blocking another driver and impeding another driver when being lapped.
There will be set penalties for certain incidents, if an incident is repeated by the same driver more than 5 times throughout the duration of all championship races combined, and then there will be immediate disqualification from the championship.
Drivers may not leave the track without a justifiable reason, i.e. cutting a chicane on reconnaissance laps or in-laps to save time and fuel.
The incidents list is as follows:
• Caused an avoidable collision, waited, and let the driver back through; Less harsh Penalty will be awarded
• Caused an avoidable collision and did not wait; Penalty will be awarded
Other racing incidents that do not follow suit to any of the incidents listed above will be sorted and a penalty will be handed out if the group feels there needs to be one. All penalties will be handed out within 48 hours of the race end time.
Stewards have the power to give any penalty, even as aggressive as disqualification.
Also You can cause a collision by the invisible box, It will look like the car has slide just ahead of you then go off line or off the track. It's very obvious to pick up. If you can see it was you who hit the car ahead by the invisible box you must wait for there car to get back on track and carry on. A driver wont be awarded a penalty for a invisible box collision, But that doesn't mean you can blame every crash on the invisible box
Racing etiquette
Drivers must use the track at all times. For the avoidance of doubt the white lines defining the track edges are considered to be part of the track but the kerbs are not.
A driver will be judged to have left the track if no part of the car remains in contact with the track.
Should a car leave the track the driver may rejoin, however, this may only be done when it is safe to do so and without gaining any advantage.
A driver may not deliberately leave the track without justifiable reason.
A driver will be judged to have left the track, if more than 2 wheels have left the track boundaries. If you accidentally cut a corner, whether it be in qualifying or during the race, you MUST abandon the lap (qualifying) or slow down, as to not gain an advantage. Any driver who is deemed to have gained any advantage by not adhering to these rules and there is evidence supporting this, will be investigated by the stewards and could result in any kind of penalty that the stewards feel is appropriate.
• It is the responsibility of the overtaking driver to ensure that the pass is made cleanly and incident-free
Generally:
• If the overtaking driver is fully alongside (wheel-to-wheel) the driver being overtaken as the cars enter the braking zone, then the corner is awarded to the overtaking driver and it is the responsibility of the driver being overtaken not to turn into his opponent.
• If the overtaking driver is not fully alongside a competitor as they enter the braking zone, the corner does not belong to the driver attempting the pass and it is their own responsibility to give the other driver room and ensure there is no contact.
Tyre Compound & Pit Stops
A driver may qualify on any compound they wish:
• Option Tyres (Dry)
• Prime Tyres (Dry)
• Intermediate Tyres (Drying Track)
• Wet Tyres (Wet Track)
However, you must pit at least once and must use both dry compounds of tyre if it is a full dry race. Failure to do so, you will incur the automatic penalty from the game.
